Great service from staff - excellent rooms and a very good location to central town. Staff very helpful in booking tours and suggesting places to go.
clean and comfortable rooms ,good location ,good continental breakfast
price was not fare ,there wasn't safety box in the room so we had to put our important documenst in the safety box of the front desk.
Beef for dinner in the hotel's restaurant was great.
The hotel was fantastic, and the staff all friendly. We, my sister and I, stayed twice at the hotel prior to a tour and again after our tour ended, and it was so nice when checking in the second time, that the staff at reception remembered us, as well as the ladies clearing tables at breakfast too, who were so friendly. I will definitely recommend this hotel and it will be my first choice when I return to Vancouver in the future.
No, it was all fantastic.
Hotel was comfortable and in a good location with False Creek nearby and all main downtown areas within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from our room on the 18th floor was great - the fine weather helped of course!
The room had good kitchen facilities but did not have a place to eat a meal - a table with two chairs would have really helped instead of the desk with 'PC' chair.
Friendly staff. Room was comfortable and well equipped (like fridge). Location is perfect: just 2 blocks from party area but quiet enough.
Doorlock wasn't working all the time.
checekd in too early, just off a cruise, still allowed and able to do our laundry, this was very important given just off a 7 day cruise. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of room, cooking facilities a big advatage, full buffet breakfast preferable over continetal breakfast and free wifi, also very fast access.
Our room was near the lift and the 'ding' of the lift was annoying. Also, there were renovations taking place which blocked our view and prehaps a discount in room rate was appropriate.
I took two weeks to check out the hotels in this area before I booked. We wanted something that was within walking distance to nightlife, Gastown, Yaletown Stanley Park and Granville Island. We were not disappointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Minutes after we arrived the staff ran to see if we were happy with the room. We had beautiful views of the snow capped mountains from our balcony. Everything we needed was available.... pool was not use due to renovations however we were told we could use one near our hotel. We would certainly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was being renovated and was so noisy we were unable to stay in our room between 8am and 5pm for our entire 6 night stay. We were not informed at any time that the hotel was being renovated, that the entire west wing was closed, that the pool and gym were closed and the restaurant was close when we book and paid in advance and yet we were charged the full rate for all 6 nights. The breakfast offered was so disappointing that we ate out for breakfast after the first day when we tried it.
The room was large with sofa and kitchen, so you could buy food and eat in and relax after a long day of walking downtown.
The check in welcome was great and the dining room staff wonderful. the room was great and very comfortable, all we could have asked for, also very clean.
We liked having the balcony, the full kitchen and the great breakfast.
On basis of price paid overall a good standard - reception staff friendly and helpful, breakfast OK and a small but nice restaurant attached if wanting to eat in at night. A ten/15 minute walk into the main shopping area - quicker if you want to hop onto a bus which run on the adjacent streets.
Did note a strange odour in the first room we were put and asked to be moved. In fairness to the hotel we were given an alternative room straight away and the staff we keen to note our reasons so that they could advise housekeeping. When in the second room we still detected a similar smell and in the end possibly put it down to the air conditioning system and the ceiling duct in the room. We popped out stuck a couple of air freshers in the room and problem solved. More an observation than a critisism.
The suite that had a peek-a-boo view of the sound
Our card keys didn't work well in rm 1511
A well appointed hotel with a sumptuous buffet breakfast
